Tracking Thunderstorm Chances This WeekendJuly 12th, 2014 at 6:55 am by Ken Brewer under Weather
TODAY: Unsettled weather returns to central Indiana this weekend. This means higher humidity, and scattered thunderstorms. They could pop-up anywhere, anytime. If you have outdoor plans, bring rain gear, and check the radar on LWS, here and on the mobile app to see if thunderstorms are heading your way. The biggest impacts today would be lightning, and heavy downpours.
THIS EVENING: Scattered thunderstorms will linger early in the evening, then settle down a bit after sunset. It will not be as comfortable as the past few nights, and temps will be in the 80s and 70s.
OVERNIGHT: There could be some pop-up storms overnight. Lows will only drop to the low 70s.
SUNDAY: There is a bit higher chance of thunderstorms Sunday, and some of those could be severe. Highs will reach the mid 80s.
8-DAY FORECAST: A cool-down of epic proportions is coming by the middle of next week! Highs will barely reach the low 70s, and could be record cool temperatures for the dates! Temps will slowly go up for next weekend.
