Taste of Fall!July 15th, 2014 at 5:21 am by Ken Brewer under Weather
TODAY: The beginning of polar air from Canada will arrive today. In the winter, this would mean bitter cold. In the middle of July, it means fall-like temps! Highs today will struggle to reach the 70 degree mark If we reach 70, it would tie the record for the coldest high temperature ever on this date, set back in 1987. We will see sunshine early, then some afternoon clouds. There may be a sprinkle or 2, but do not cancel any plans.
THIS EVENING: Temps this evening will drop into the 50s by late evening, so keep the jacket handy!
8-DAY FORECAST: Wednesday will see another fall-like day with temps close to the record for the coldest high temperature. Temps will slowly warm up heading into the weekend, but having said that, we will stay in the 70s through Saturday. Heat and humidity return next week.
