More Cool TempsJuly 16th, 2014 at 5:40 am by Pamela Gardner under Colts Forecast, Weather
Temps are in the 50s this morning under a mainly clear sky. Today’s highs will be in the lower 70s. Our record cold high temp for Indianapolis on this date is 71º set in 1917. We expect today’s high to reach 72º in Indy.
Clouds increase throughout the day due to the daytime heating. A few sprinkles may develop after noon too, but not expecting measurable rainfall.
Tonight’s lows get chilly again with some areas dipping into the upper 40s! Indy will hit 52º (record low is 51º set in 1976).
Thursday will bring us sunshine and warmer temps with highs reaching the mid to upper 70s.
The 80s finally return by Friday, but we stay below the average high of 85º. Saturday’s highs in the lower 80s. Sunday’s highs become more seasonable with a partly cloudy sky. Our next chance for rain will be on Monday. Our summer-like weather pattern returns all next week with warm temps, more humidity, and storm chances each day.
