Warmer Temps, Humidity Moving InJuly 21st, 2014 at 5:28 am by Ken Brewer under Weather
TODAY: The warming trend that began over the weekend will really kick in today and even more so Tuesday. Highs today will reach the mid to upper 80s and humidity will be a bit higher than the weekend.
THIS EVENING: It will be a warmer evening, but a quiet evening. Temps will be in the 80s and 70s.
OVERNIGHT: The higher humidity will mean warmer temps overnight. Lows will drop into the mid to upper 60s in outlying areas to near 70 in the city.
TUESDAY…1ST 90° OF THE YEAR? Highs will reach the upper 80s, and some places could hit 90° which would be the 1st time this year.
8-DAY FORECAST: Scattered thunderstorms will arrive Wednesday, and that will cool temps back off a bit Thursday and Friday. Unsettled weather could return for the weekend, which could mean chances of rain for the Brickyard 400. We will continue to fine tune the forecast in the days ahead.
