The severe t-storm watch has been dropped for central Indiana. Steady rain continues to fall in eastern and southern parts of the state. The severe weather risk is over for tonight. Additional storms may pop up overnight and that could bring us more rain and lightning. A flash flood watch continues until 8am for a few southern counties.
The Brickyard 400 will be partly cloudy and breezy. In the late afternoon we could have pop up showers and storms. Some storms could turn severe in eastern Indiana. Damaging wind and hail, along with lightning and heavy rain are the threats.
