Concluding the Weekend With Cooler Temps On The WayJuly 27th, 2014 at 3:46 pm by Pamela Gardner under Colts Forecast, Weather
Overview: It’s been a busy weekend for Indiana weather with both Saturday and Sunday having risks for severe weather. The weekend is concluding and we take a break from the severe weather this week. Tomorrow brings isolated thunderstorm possibilities.
Right now: A cold front is northwest of Indianapolis. Ahead of it, we have scattered thunderstorms. Lightning, heavy rain and gusty wind are the threats. As they move into eastern Indiana this evening they could turn severe. Ahead of the rain, our temps are warm and we have high humidity.
Tonight: There is a chance for showers and thunderstorms overnight but they won’t be severe like this afternoon and evening. The remainder of the night will be partly cloudy with low temperatures in the mid 60s.
Monday: Monday has a chance for isolated thunderstorms. Other than that, it will be mostly cloudy and cooler. Temperatures drop down into the low and mid 70s!
Rest of Week: 70 degree temps remain for the rest of the week. Tuesday and Wednesday will be dry and comfortable. The thunderstorm chances move back in on Thursday and remain for the rest of your 8 day forecast.
