More Scattered Rain As Temperatures Rise.August 1st, 2014 at 6:11 pm by Robb Ellis under Colts Forecast, Weather
Warming temps, and scattered precipitation will make things feel more summer like as we start off our August. A warmer, but wet, trend will take hold this week with rain chances throughout the 8 day.
Expect scattered showers and storms to linger around this evening and into tonight. Temperatures will cool back into the 60s, with a low of 65 here in the city.
Scattered storms remain in our forecast for Saturday, as the set up will look rather similar to the one this afternoon. Highs should top out near 83 Saturday afternoon.
Sunday will mark a dry end to your weekend as partly cloudy skies will stick around, but the rain will not. Expect a high near 84 in the afternoon.
Monday will start your work week off on the right foot with partly cloudy skies and high of 85.
As mentioned, the rain will return to our area on Tuesday in the form of isolated showers and storms becoming possible during the daytime hours. Highs will continue to warm as we are expecting a high of 86 here in the city.
Late Next Week:
Scattered storms will continue as temperatures remain in the mid-80s for Wednesday and Thursday with cooling temperatures moving in after that. A high of 85 still expected on Friday with partly cloudy skies, however the high will drop to 81 next Saturday as scattered rain showers return.
