Rain Chances Slowly Move InAugust 7th, 2014 at 5:34 am by Pamela Gardner under Colts Forecast, Weather
Temperatures are in the 60s now with some patchy fog. Some isolated locations could see some dense fog but right now there are no major visibility issues.
A complex of showers and storms will move into Indiana later today. The rain is running into drier air so the rain on radar now will fizzle out when it hits Indiana. Much of the afternoon is dry with increasing clouds and highs in the lower 80s. The southwestern half of the state will see the rain first by early afternoon once more moisture takes over to support the rain.
Overnight, the rain and storms spread into the rest of the state. Off and on rain continues throughout Friday’s forecast with highs in the upper 70s.
Isolated storms stick around for the weekend. There will be plenty of dry hours both days, so don’t cancel plans. Highs will be in the lower 80s.
Fair Weather Day is Saturday at the Indiana State Fair. We have two weather presentations, one at 10:30am and another at 2:30pm in the Ag/Hort building. We hope to see you there!
