We are in for another cool down this week as high temperatures fall back into the 70s starting on Tuesday. Scattered showers and storms are expected to stick around tomorrow and on Tuesday. On Wednesday, high pressure will start to build in bringing sunny skies, dry conditions, and cooler than average temperatures.
Parts of central Indiana may see an isolated shower or brief storm overnight; otherwise skies will be mostly cloudy. Temperatures will fall into the upper 60s for the overnight low.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to make their return on Monday. Some storms may be strong, producing small hail, heavy rain, and lightning. Skies will be partly cloudy with high temperatures around 80 degrees. Overnight, showers will start to dissipate and skies will become mostly clear. Temperatures will fall into the mid 60s for the overnight low.
Showers and thunderstorms return on Tuesday and will move across central Indiana during the day. Skies will be mostly cloudy with temperatures only reaching into the mid 70s. Rain will move out, and temperatures will fall into the upper 50s overnight.
Rest of the Week:
High pressure will build in for the remainder of the work week, bringing cooler temperatures, sunny skies, and drier conditions. High temperatures will stay in the upper 70s, with lows in the upper 50s. The next chance for rain should hold off until the weekend.
