Fall-Like WeatherAugust 13th, 2014 at 5:57 pm by Pamela Gardner under Colts Forecast, Weather
Dry days and mild temperatures remain in the forecast at least through the first part of the weekend before rain chances move in late Saturday. However your weekend looks unlikely to be a washout.
Mostly clear skies will be around this evening as temperatures plunge near the 50s. Overnight lows in the city will be near 60 with lower temperatures to our north. There is a weak cold front that will move in from the north. This could trigger an isolated shower, but most of us stay dry.
Thursday & Friday:
Partly cloudy skies stick around for Thursday and Friday as temperatures start to slowly rise. Expect a high of 78 by Thursday, but rising above 80 to 82 on Friday. Thanks to that cold front, the southwestern corner of the state could get an isolated shower late in the day Thursday.
The warming trend will continue into Saturday as we are expecting a high temp of 84 in the city. Temps cool back into the lower 80s by the time the Colts take on the Giants downtown, and we could see some storms as well. Storms chances are in the forecast Saturday evening through early Sunday.
After the initial rounds of rain and storms in the AM Sunday should end on a sunny note with an afternoon high warming up to 83.
Early Next Week:
By early next week scattered chances for storms enter the forecast both Tuesday and Thursday, however these are interrupted by sunny days Monday and Wednesday. Temps during this period will likely be in the mid 80s, warming more as we get deeper into the work week.
