Rain & Storms Back For This WeekendAugust 14th, 2014 at 5:53 pm by Pamela Gardner under Colts Forecast, Weather
A few showers have popped up in the southern third of Indiana. The showers are moving south along a weak disturbance. Once the sun sets, the disturbance will be out of the state and the showers dissipate.
Temperatures are in the upper 70s and lower 80s with mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies. Tonight’s lows dip into the 50s, and some places could hit the 40s! With a clear sky and high pressure over us, we will easily loose the daytime heat and therefore, temps will be cooler than normal. The record low for Friday morning in Indy is 45º set in 1979. We are not expecting to even tie that record in the circle city.
A picturesque Friday is on the horizon with mostly sunny skies and highs around 80 degrees.
The weekend will bring us some changes. Both days we have scattered showers and storms in the forecast. More so for Sunday. Highs both days will be in the lower 80s. Monday looks like a soggy, cloudy day with more rain on tap. By Tuesday and Wednesday we have some dry weather again. High temps next week will be in the 80s, eventually reaching the upper 80s by the end of next week.
