Getting closer to 90 degreesAugust 19th, 2014 at 7:00 pm by Robb Ellis under Colts Forecast, Weather
Afternoon storms fueled by Tuesday’s warmth and humidity will wrap up overnight, and we’ll get a break from storms for about a day before more arrive. Temperatures will continue their steady climb toward 90 degrees by the weekend.
Storms will wrap up and conditions will remain warm and muggy. Lows in the upper 60s to near 70 degrees.
Continued humid and warm, with highs in the mid 80s. While rain chances won’t be zero, they’ll remain low, except NE and SE of Indy. Highs in the mid to upper 80s with lows near 70.
Thursday and Friday:
Scattered thunderstorms return to the forecast. High temperatures will return to the mid to upper 80s. Overnight lows will drop into the low 70s as heat and humidity stick around through the end of the week.
Saturday and Sunday:
A break from higher rain chances mean partly cloudy skies for both Saturday and Sunday. Highs will likely be at or just slightly above 90 degrees. Overnight lows will also be mild, in the low 70s.
After a Monday in the 90s, rain chances will return late Monday and temperatures will drop to near-normal values with highs in the mid 80s and lows in the mid 60s.
