Storms through Saturday, then hot and humidAugust 21st, 2014 at 6:37 pm by Robb Ellis under Colts Forecast, Weather
Storms will remain in the forecast through Saturday afternoon, before high pressure overtakes the pattern and makes for hot and humid days early next week.
Severe Storms Tonight:
The slight risk for severe weather includes the possibility of damaging winds and small hail from a line of storms expected to move through this evening and overnight. Storms may also produce very heavy rainfall and lead to minor flooding, especially in locations that received 2-3″ of rain this morning (closer to Muncie).
More storms will likely develop in the afternoon responding to the peak heating of the day. Highs will be close to 90 with overnight lows in the low 70s.
Another day where temperatures will get close to 90 degrees. Isolated storms are expected again on Saturday, but high pressure may build close enough to keep storms at bay in western and southern Indiana. Lows continue in the low 70s.
Partly cloudy and hot. Highs in the low 90s. Lows in the low 70s.
The 90s will continue for a few days as high pressure remains in place. Lows will continue in the low 70s with humidity remaining high. A cool-down is expected by the middle of the week, with temperatures returning to near normal values.
