Flash Flood Warnings

Very heavy rainfall overnight has prompted several flash flood warnings this morning over northeastern Indiana. Hartford City has reported 7.75″ of rain during the past 24 hours. Never drive through a flooded roadway. As we say, turn around, don’t drown! More showers and storms are in the forecast with the main threat additional heavy downpours.

Hot and humid weather is still on track for the weekend. Highs will be near 90 on both Saturday and Sunday. There will be isolated storms during the weekend.

Hot and humid weather will continue into Monday and Tuesday. A cold front will move through the state on Wednesday bringing additional storms. Cooler and drier air will follow in behind the front for the latter part of next week.
