Yet another day in the 90s on Tuesday with a highs on 92 at Indianapolis airport. That makes Tuesday the hottest day of the year, and only the 2nd day this year of 90+ temperatures.
Tonight:Temperatures cooled in the wake of the afternoon’s storms, but a gradual rise in temperatures has occurred in their wake. Expect temps to stay in the low 70s overnight into morning.
Heat and humidity will stick around with highs around 87 for Wednesday afternoon. Isolated thunderstorms are likely to pop up during the afternoon and continue into the evening. Lows around 70.
Thursday and Friday:
Highs remain in the upper 80s with lows around 70. Rain chances continue for each day, especially during the afternoon.
Rain chances ramp up for the weekend. Scattered thunderstorms are likely both Saturday and Sunday. Highs will remain in the mid 80s. Overnight lows in the upper 60s.
Highs return to the mid to upper 80s with isolated rain chances continuing.
