Storms Possible Throughout The Holiday WeekendAugust 29th, 2014 at 6:32 am by Pamela Gardner under Colts Forecast, Weather
This morning we are waking up to temps in the upper 60s and lower 70s. The heat is on later today. High temps reach the upper 80s and lower 90s with higher humidity. There is of course a chance for rain too.
Forecast 8 Futurecast shows that isolated showers and storms develop along a warm front that will lift north through Indiana this afternoon and evening. Keep an eye on radar if you plan to be out at the pool. Any storm that pops up could produce heavy rainfall and lightning. We don’t expect severe storms.
Isolated storms and showers will still be around this evening for any high school football games in The Zone. Mainly dry though with warm temps. Tonight, isolated showers and storms with highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s.
Highs for the holiday weekend will be just as warm and it will be just as humid. More rain and storms are also in the forecast. Scattered showers and storms for Saturday. The rain becomes more isolated on Sunday. Labor Day we will also be dodging those showers and storms. No widespread severe weather is expected this weekend.
