Another Dry & Warm DaySeptember 4th, 2014 at 4:59 am by Pamela Gardner under Colts Forecast, Weather
Temperatures are in the 60s this morning and we are all dry. There is a cold front sitting to the northwest of Indiana and that is triggering storms and showers. The rain should break up before it gets closer to Indiana. The cold front moves through on Friday into Saturday morning and we do expect the rain and storm chances.
Enjoy the warmth and sunshine today. Highs today reach the mid to upper 80s with moderate humidity levels. Tonight’s lows dip into the upper 60s and lower 70s.
Friday will be just as warm with highs also in the mid to upper 80s ahead of the cold front. Scattered showers and storms move in Friday afternoon and evening. Forecast 8 Futurecast shows the rain right over the heart of Indiana by 7pm. The rain continues Friday night and into Saturday morning. Some gusty wind and small hail will be possible in the stronger thunderstorms.
The rain on Saturday should taper off by the late afternoon and we may see some sunshine. Sunday looks completely dry. High temps will be much cooler in the mid to upper 70s for the weekend. The heat returns for the start to next week.
