We are warm and muggy this morning with temps in the lower 70s. Today’s highs will be in the upper 80s and lower 90s with high humidity. The afternoon will be dry, but storms move in tonight.
There is a slight risk for severe storms for tonight Damaging wind and large hail are the primary threats. The line of storms will form ahead of a cold front. Forecast 8 Futurecast shows the storms moving into the northwestern corner of the state by 10pm. The storms arrive in Indy around midnight.
The early part of the evening should be OK for The Zone football games. However, stay weather aware as the line of storms moves in later tonight. Temperatures stay warm until we get into early Saturday.
High temps will be in the mid to upper 70s all weekend long. A few showers linger into Saturday morning, but the rest of the weekend is dry and fall-like.
Temperatures stay either at or below our normal high of 82º in the extended forecast. Dry for Monday, then storms return by mid-week.
