Weir Cook Memorial Drive

Look for the Indianapolis Airport Authority to act on Friday with regard to the request to give the airport a new name. Expect the request to change the name from Indianapolis International to be denied.
Instead, supporters of a memorial to flying ace Weir Cook will get two smaller victories. The drive from I-70 to the terminal will be named in Wier Cook’s honor and so will the terminal.
At least that’s the plan.
