Sprinkles Possible This Afternoon

A cold front moving through the Ohio Valley will produce a few light showers and sprinkles this afternoon especially across the northern half of the state. Highs will climb into the upper 50s and lower 60s.

A Sunny But Cool Afternoon

High pressure will provide lots of sunshine and cool readings this afternoon as highs climb into the lower 50s. Our next weather-maker is back in the northern Plains States. This will bring the threat for a few light showers on Wednesday.

A touch of Indian Summer will arrive this weekend as temperatures warm well into the 60s. I have included the 6 to 10 day outlook. It appears a warm and wet pattern will return next week.

A Few Sprinkles Possible

A cold front moving into the Ohio Valley is producing a few sprinkles across the northern half of the state. Highs will climb to near 60 degrees this afternoon. Much of this week will be on the quiet side. It looks like a very nice weekend with sunshine and highs well into the 60s.

Patchy Dense Fog Again

Watch out for areas of fog again this morning. Kokomo is down to a 1/4 mile visibility. Once the fog burns off it should be a great day. Highs will top out in the low 70s.

A Great Thursday

Today should turn out to the best day of the week with some sun and highs in the low 70s. Watch out for some patchy early morning. High clouds will roll in this afternoon.

Our next storm will arrive late tonight into Friday. The main threat will be heavy rainfall. Flood watches are already flying in Illinois. We could see heavy rain here Friday and Friday night. The rain should end Saturday afternoon with some sunshine on Sunday.

A Wet Afternoon

Forecast 8 VIPIR Radar is showing the leading edge of rain across southern Indiana. The rain has moved as far north as Bloomington and Columbus and is heading to the northeast. Look for rain to move into the metro area around noon or shortly thereafter. The rain should become steadier by late afternoon and evening. Rainfall totals by morning may exceed 1/2″. Some fog is being reported in Terre Haute.

Rain Arrives Late Today

Here Comes The Rain

Forecast 8 VIPIR Radar is indicating a large area of rain across Missouri and Arkansas. It looks like the rain will arrive here by late this afternoon. Rainfall may become heavy tonight with many area receiving between 1″ and 2″ by Friday afternoon.

Rain should diminish to scattered showers during the day on Friday. Highs will climb into the 60s. Sunday looks like the better of the 2 days for the weekend. We could see a few scattered showers on Saturday with some sunshine on Sunday.

Finally, Temperatures Above Normal

For the first time in 23 days, temperatures should climb above normal today with readings climbing into the upper 60s. Wednesday still looks like the best day of the entire week. Our next storm arrives on Thursday. The biggest threat will be heavy rain late Thursday into Friday.
