TODAY: After a nice Easter weekend, rain and storms will return to the state today. There is a slight risk of severe storms from Indianapolis and areas to the south. The highest threat will be later this afternoon. Highs will only hit the mid-50’s.

INDIANS GAME TONIGHT: Weather could be iffy as we will have rain chances tonight. Take rain gear if you are heading to the game.

TUESDAY: Rain will continue, though the rain should be lighter and more scattered than today. Cooler air will arrive also,and highs will only hit the lower 50’s.

WEDNESDAY: Improving weather, with some sunshine and milder temperatures. Highs will hit the upper 50’s to lower 60’s.

Temperatures have rebounded nicely after a frosty start. Winds have shifted to an easterly and southeasterly direction, and that will propel temperatures in to the 60’s in most places this afternoon.

THIS MORNING: A Freeze Warning is in effect until 9:00 am for most of the viewing area. If you are heading out for Sunrise services, temperatures should be in the low 30’s and even some upper 20’s.

REST OF TODAY: Expect plenty of sun early, and as winds will shift to the SE, milder air will build in. Highs should hit the lower 60’s, but it should stay dry.

INDIANS FORECAST: First pitch at 2 vs. Toledo, and the weather should be great!

MONDAY: The next rain and storm maker will arrive Monday. It will bring rain early, then possibly some stronger storms in central and southern Indiana by the afternoon.

TUESDAY: Rain will linger as the storm system stalls out. Expect some spotty showers off and on. Temperatures will go down just a bit.

Temperatures are starting to warm nicely, but the northerly breeze will make it feel a bit cooler.

INDIANS FORECAST: Cool, but dry weather for the Indians game at Victory Field. Temperatures will start in the low 50’s, then drop into the 40’s.

THIS MORNING: After some rain Friday, the weather should clear out nicely today. If you are heading out for Easter Egg Hunts or other activities, it will be cool and breezy, with temperatures rising from the upper 30’s to mid to upper 40’s by late morning.

REST OF TODAY: Skies will clear out and we should see plenty of sunshine. Highs will be a bit cooler than normal, but still nice in the mid 50’s in most places.

FREEZE WATCH TONIGHT: Temperatures again will dip down near or possibly below the freezing mark, so again, protect the sensitive plants.

EASTER SUNDAY: After the chilly start, we should see a nice warm-up as an area of high pressure slides to our east, our winds should become more southeasterly, and help make temperatures milder. Highs should hit the low 60’s in most places.

Temperatures are already getting close to yesterday’s high temperature. Most places are in the low to mid 40’s, and should get to the mid 50’s this afternoon.

TODAY: The strong upper-level low pressure system will loosen its grip over us just a bit and allow for some milder air to return. Highs will still be just a bit below normal. But you combine the milder air with some lighter winds, it will feel much more comfortable today.

THURSDAY: Milder air will mean no freeze conditions Thursday morning. The rest of the day should be mild. Our next weather maker will arrive by Thursday night, and give us some rain chances, but most places should stay dry.

FRIDAY: A messy and stormy day, as the storm system will pass over us. We could see some heavy rain and storms.

Temperatures are approaching the freezing mark, but a Freeze Warning remains in effect for the next hour.

THIS MORNING: A Freeze Warning remains in effect for the entire viewing area until 10:00am. A few flurries are possible this morning, but many places should be okay.

REST OF TODAY: Spotty flurries will linger this morning, and maybe even a few this afternoon as an upper-level low sits in the eastern U.S. Highs will stay well below normal in the low to mid 40’s.

TONIGHT: Cold air will linger, and with partial clearing, a freeze is possible once again. A Freeze Watch is in place for tonight, so cover the sensitive plants once again.

WEDNESDAY: Milder weather will return, but it will still be slightly cooler than normal. Highs should hit the low to mid 50’s.
