Food Fight
Don Marsh filed a counter-claim against the company he used to lead. A few months ago, the Marsh grocery store chain filed a complaint against Mr. Marsh — claiming he “abused his position and often put his and his family’s interests above those of the entity that it was his duty to serve.”
In Mr. Marsh’s counter-claim, you see three words over and over: “denies the allegations”. He disputes most of the claims made by his old company. So, when he says “admits”, it stands out. In one example, he “admits the allegations set forth in paragraph 6 of the Complaint.” Going back to the original complaint, you see that the address printed there is his home address.
In another example, he “admits that the Company paid for annual Christmas cards, which may have contained pictures of Mr. Marsh and his family, but denies the remaining allegations set forth in paragraph 34 of the Complaint.”
